Todrick Hall In First Documentary Trailer

Pay full attention to the man Behind the Curtain. 

Todrick Hall, who has climbed to fame from his viral YouTube video hits of Disney spoofs and other various camp classics, is preparing to release his first Documentary.

‘Behind The Curtain: Todrick Hall’ will follow him during his creative process of creating his recent visual album ‘Straight Outta Oz’.

The documentary premiered at this years SXSW festival and has since been shortlisted for various other festivals included DOC NYC, Seattle International Film Festival, Frameline and Outfest.  The doc features appearances from Wayne Brady, Caldwell Tidicue (Bob the Drag Queen), Jordin Sparks, Nicole Sherzinger, GloZell Green, Amber Riley and more.

Out Magazine reported on some of Todrick’s past life in relation to his upcoming film;

Hailing from a small Texas town, Hall dipped deep into his personal life growing up as a closeted young black man in a red state for source material for his musical. His tumultuous relationship with his mother coupled with the often insurmountable feat of making it in the entertainment industry lent themselves to pieces from the show as well.
